To no one’s surprise, the most common New Year’s resolutions are to eat healthier and get more exercise. If  you are one of the millions of people who are determined to begin 2025 prioritizing your health,  Any Lab Test Now is here to help you stay the course and reach your goals for a happier and healthier you.

Many of you will begin by cleaning all the junk food out of your pantry or by joining a local gym. Those are both great steps, but a trip to your local Any Lab Test Now for an Annual Check-Up Panel should be at the top of your list as well. Here’s why:

Reason #1 — Progress Monitoring

How do you know how far you’ve come if you don’t know where you started? The Annual Check-Up Panel provides you with an important baseline. You’ll learn the numeric levels on blood counts and cholesterol and triglyceride levels as well as kidney and liver functions and more. By knowing these levels at the beginning of your resolution, you’ll be able to return every four to six months to test again. It will provide you with proof that choosing a salad instead of a hamburger really is worth it.

Reason #2 — Maintaining the Lifestyle

Having knowledge of your baseline can aid you in maintaining your new healthy lifestyle choice. In addition, having physical numbers and an obvious goal can help to maintain consistency and stay committed to your resolution. It transforms abstract concepts of health into tangible data points, which are easier to understand and manage.By engaging in routine testing, you introduce regular checkpoints into your lifestyle change journey, reinforcing habits and fostering a culture of accountability.

Reason #3 — Safety

Starting an exercise routine is one of the single most important things you can do to improve your health. But what if your health is unstable at the beginning of your journey? If you have heart disease, diabetes, suffer from an undiagnosed illness, etc they may cause you to become dizzy or lightheaded. Thus, the type of exercise you are doing might need to be modified. The Annual Check-Up Panel provides you with crucial information that may encourage you to see your doctor before you begin your exercise journey.

Reason #4 — To Know Yourself

Yes, most say “New Year, New Me” however, your body does not change the way your mindset does. You are welcoming this new year in the same skin, thus, it’s important to understand everything you can about your body so you know the best way to care for it. Most might love a good surprise, but no one loves a surprise that negatively affects their health. The Annual Check-Up Panel can provide you with knowledge about your body that your future self will thank you for.

About the Test

The Annual Check-Up Panel consists of five tests that are typically ordered by a doctor during an annual physical examination:

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)
  • Cholesterol Lipid with Ratio (Lipids Panel)
  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)
  • Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1C)

That’s a lot of important information in just one test! You’ll need to fast for 10–12 hours to make sure the results are as accurate as possible.

Resolving to put your health first is admirable, but it isn’t always easy! Your local Any Lab Test Now is here to help you take control of your health all twelve months of the year.

Thanks to salacious television talk shows, the phrase “Who’s your daddy?” has become something of a joke. But for many people, determining paternity is a serious matter. While some get a paternity test for peace of mind, there are several other reasons for seeking out this type of testing.

Here are five reasons that might cause you to require a paternity test.

Custody

Paternity tests play an important part in child custody cases, especially when the father wants to obtain the right to see the child. This can happen when the mother believes the man is not the father of her child and she does not want to allow him to have visitation with the child.

If you recall, model Anna Nicole Smith was forced to submit to a DNA test by a former boyfriend, Larry Birkhead, to determine the paternity of her daughter even though she registered another man’s name as the child’s father on the birth certificate. The daughter turned out to be Birkhead’s child. He was ultimately granted full custody of the child due to Smith’s sudden death in 2007.

Child Support

A U.S. Census report estimates that just 43.5 percent of custodial parents get the full amount of support they’re entitled to. And more than 30 percent don’t receive anything at all. In many cases, it is because the male denies he is the biological father of the child or children that are to be supported.

A paternity test can be ordered by a judge to hold these fathers accountable for the financial well-being of their children. It can also be used to help men avoid paying child support for children that turn out NOT to be their biological offspring.

Inheritance Rights

After someone dies and it is time to settle the estate, a paternity test can help determine the true and legal heirs. DNA testing can be useful in estate disputes involving estranged family members, such as when a wealthy individual dies without a will and an alleged child comes along to claim the inheritance.

There have been many famous cases where the inheritance rights were in dispute, including soul singer James Brown, and even Elvis Presley, who was rumored to have fathered at least seven illegitimate children who required DNA testing to disprove their claims to his $250 million estate.

Benefits Rights

Like inheritance rights, sometimes heirs are entitled to other benefits such as social security or life insurance payouts. Occasionally, heirs will need to provide proof of paternity to be considered a legal beneficiary.

Citizenship Eligibility

When birth certificates or other forms of documentation are not available, DNA paternity testing can help prove a familial relationship in immigration cases. This is helpful when a child is born outside of the United States to an American citizen and a foreign national. If the child is proven to be related to the American, they would be eligible for citizenship.

Paternity Test Process

In many of these cases, you will need test results that will hold up in court. Any Lab Test Now® offers several types of paternity tests, including one that is eligible for use in legal disputes. Home tests and tests labeled “informational” will not be admissible in court.

Testing is simple. One of our highly skilled lab technicians will collect skin cell samples via a soft swab rubbed on the inside cheeks of the mouth to obtain DNA from the child and the alleged father. A sample from the mother is not required but can be useful. Test results are typically available within three to five business days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you perform a paternity test if the alleged father is deceased?

Yes, depending on the type of specimen available, or members of the family within the paternal line that are willing to participate in a DNA test.

Can you get a paternity test before the baby is born?

Yes. ANY LAB TEST NOW® offers a prenatal paternity test with no risk to the baby. It involves a simple blood draw from both the mother and alleged father.

The alleged father lives in a different state than the mother/child. Can you do the test even if he doesn’t live here?

Yes. We have over 240 locations nationwide and are able to easily facilitate specimen collections in other parts of the country.

Any Lab Test Now wants you to be at ease when it comes to seeking out any type of lab work, including determining paternity. Your privacy is our priority. Gluten allergy and intolerance are conditions affecting millions of people worldwide, often leading to symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, and fatigue. Understanding these conditions is crucial for managing symptoms and improving quality of life. At Any Lab Test Now, we offer convenient and affordable testing options to help identify gluten-related issues.

What is Gluten?

Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye. It gives dough its elasticity but can cause problems for people with gluten allergies or intolerance.

Gluten Allergy

A gluten allergy triggers the immune system, leading to symptoms such as itching, difficulty breathing, or anaphylaxis in severe cases. Unlike celiac disease, a gluten allergy does not cause long-term damage to the small intestine but can still create significant discomfort and health risks.

Gluten Intolerance

Gluten intolerance, or non-celiac gluten sensitivity, is characterized by digestive and non-digestive symptoms triggered by gluten ingestion. Unlike allergies, there’s no immune response involved, but symptoms can mimic those of celiac disease, including bloating, diarrhea, and fatigue.

Symptoms to Watch For

Identifying whether you have a gluten allergy or intolerance can be challenging given the shared symptoms with other conditions. Common signs include:

  • Abdominal pain and bloating
  • Diarrhea or constipation
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches or migraines
  • Joint pain
  • Skin rashes like eczema

These symptoms can vary in intensity and duration, making it vital to undergo testing for a clear diagnosis.

Testing for Gluten Issues at Any Lab Test Now

To accurately diagnose gluten-related issues, Any Lab Test Now provides several testing options:

Gluten Allergy Test

Our Gluten Allergy Test is designed to detect antibodies related to gluten allergy. This blood test provides valuable insights into whether an immune response to gluten is present. Conveniently, no fasting is required, and results are typically available within 2-3 business days.

Intolerance and Food Sensitivity Panel

For individuals suspecting non-allergic food sensitivities, The 50 Food Sensitivity and Intolerance Panel can identify common ingredients causing symptoms such as bloating and digestive issues. Identifying specific intolerances empowers you to make informed dietary choices.

Celiac Disease Panel: A Deeper Dive into Gluten Reactions

For those who suspect celiac disease, our Celiac Disease Panel is an essential diagnostic tool. This comprehensive test evaluates genetic, antibody, and cellular levels to determine gluten-triggered autoimmune reactions. Unlike simple gluten sensitivity, celiac disease involves an immune response that can damage the small intestine over time. This panel is crucial for accurately diagnosing the condition, enabling individuals to adopt a gluten-free lifestyle with confidence and protect their long-term health. At Any Lab Test Now, we make it easy to access these essential insights with convenient testing options and quick results turnarounds.

How Our Testing Works

  1. Accessibility: No doctor’s order is necessary to start testing. Simply walk in or schedule an appointment at your local Any Lab Test Now location.
  2. Convenience: We offer work-friendly hours and accept HSA and FSA cards for those with high deductible insurance plans.
  3. Speed: Most test results are ready within 24-72 hours, allowing for swift decision-making and action.

Taking Control of Your Health

Understanding your body’s response to gluten is the first step toward better health management. Testing not only confirms or rules out gluten allergy or intolerance but also supports making informed dietary adjustments that enhance your quality of life.

  • Follow a Gluten-Free Diet: Once identified, eliminate gluten from your diet to alleviate symptoms.
  • Read Labels Carefully: Gluten can be present in unexpected products, including sauces and seasonings.
  • Consult Professionals: Work with dietitians or healthcare providers to plan a balanced, gluten-free diet.

Get The Answers You Need

Gluten allergy and intolerance are manageable conditions with the right information and support. Any Lab Test Now is committed to providing accurate and accessible testing to help you take control of your health. Visit us at your nearest location to learn more about our gluten testing options and begin your journey to improved well-being.

For many of us, the end of the calendar year does not just mean it’s the holiday season — it’s also open enrollment time for health insurance. Whether you are signing up on marketplace, in your workplace, or independently — this is when many of us look ahead to determine what kind of healthcare coverage we will want to choose going into 2025.

Navigating healthcare coverage choices and terminology can be challenging. After all, most of us only worry about this stuff once a year, wait for our insurance card, and forget about it. But to help you get acclimated to this year’s enrollment, let’s review some terms, so you make good choices and get the most bang for your buck.

You’ll see the acronyms HSA and FSA come up frequently as you troll through healthcare information. There is a significant difference between the two.

What is an HSA?

Heathcare.gov describes an HSA as a type of savings account that lets you set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualified medical expenses. The untaxed funds in the Health Savings Account can be used to pay for qualified medical expenses like deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and some other expenses — resulting in lower out-of-pocket healthcare costs.

But here’s something important to note — HSAs can be used ONLY with high-deductible health plans, which is the choice for about 30 million Americans right now.

When to Use an HSA

Here’s an example of when you would use your HSA. Let’s say you break your arm. Ouch. To correct the injury, you need surgery. Even though your health insurance may cover the bulk of the surgery, your patient responsibility or co-pay might be several hundred dollars. You can use the money you tucked away in your HSA to pay that deductible.

There are some dos and don’ts when it comes to using your HSA funds. Let’s unpack one. If you travel internationally, either through work or leisure, you can use your HSA to pay for treatment in a foreign country as well as any prescribed drug you purchase and consume in another country if the drug is legal in both the other country and the United States.

There are many stipulations regarding the use of an HSA. It’s best to check what counts as a qualified medical expense based on criteria set by the IRS. If you use your HSA for an expense other than eligible medical expenses, you can subject yourself to significant IRS penalties after being flagged for an audit.

What Is an FSA?

An FSA, or Flexible Spending Account, is similar to an HSA. If you have a health plan through a job, you can use a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for copayments, deductibles, some drugs, and some other healthcare costs.

A Flexible Spending Account is a special account you put money into that you use to pay for certain out-of-pocket health care costs without paying taxes on that money.

Sometimes an employer will make contributions to your FSA, although it’s not required, or money can be taken from your paycheck and put into the FSA.

FSA vs. HSA

Here are two very important differences between these two savings plans.

  1. Generally, you must use the money in an FSA within the plan year. An HSA, on the other hand, has no “use it or lose it” provision. HSA money is there for you to use well into the future.
  2. You own the money in your HSA. Your employer owns the money in your FSA.

Utilizing Health Accounts at Any Lab Test Now®

One of the medical expenses you can pay for with both an HSA and FSA is diagnostic lab work from Any Lab Test Now®. We have thousands of tests available to you, providing comprehensive health screenings that allow you to focus on your family’s health.

At Any Lab Test Now®, we provide clear, concise, and understandable results. You also have the option to glean additional information with our DialCare service. This allows you to consult with our provider about your results. The clarity you receive from a medical professional can affect the way you handle your health and can be lifesaving.

Remember, at Any Lab Test Now®, the lab tests we provide are confidential, affordable, and convenient. You own the results, and you choose how to proceed with them, whether that means consulting with your provider for further details or perhaps the results give you the peace of mind you were seeking.

Obtaining lab testing through blood tests is a very precise indicator of your health. It tracks your overall well-being, can detect issues with organs, or how well you are managing a disease. It is an important look at your overall wellness.

Stay on top of your family’s health by utilizing our diagnostic lab testing, which can be paid for using your FSA or HSA. Call now to schedule an appointment at a location near you.

November is Diabetes Awareness Month, dedicated to highlighting the significance and impact of diabetes on those affected by this disease and their families. The CDC reports that about 37 million Americans have diabetes, while one in five people don’t even know they have it. Any Lab Test Now® is committed to spreading awareness about health conditions like diabetes and doing all we can to be your partner in wellness.

What is Diabetes?

If you or someone you know and love has been diagnosed with diabetes, undoubtedly you are trying to learn all you can about it. Diabetes is a chronic condition affecting how your body turns food into energy. Food gets digested into glucose, and typically, insulin from the pancreas helps the body use this glucose. However, in diabetics, the body either doesn’t make enough insulin or can’t use it effectively, leading to elevated blood glucose levels.

Types of Diabetes

There are different types of diabetes; that are diagnosed depending on symptoms:

  • Type 1 is when the body can’t produce insulin and is usually diagnosed in children and young adults. It’s an autoimmune condition where the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. The exact cause of this immune reaction is still unknown, although genetic and environmental factors, such as viruses, may contribute. Without proper management, type 1 diabetes can lead to higher-than-normal blood sugar levels, which can result in serious health complications.
  • Type 2, the more common type, is when your body can’t use insulin the right way or can’t produce enough. Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition that affects the way the body processes glucose, its primary energy source. The exact cause remains unclear, but it often relates to genetics, obesity, inactivity, or a combination of these factors. Over time, uncontrolled type 2 diabetes can lead to a host of health complications, including heart disease, nerve damage, and kidney issues.
  • Prediabetes is a critical stage that often precedes diabetes. It’s when blood sugar levels are higher than they should be but not yet high enough to be officially diagnosed as diabetes. Think of it as a wake-up call. According to the CDC, more than 88 million U.S. adults have prediabetes, and a shocking 84% might not even be aware they have it. The silver lining is that prediabetes can often be reversed through lifestyle changes like diet and exercise.

Symptoms To Watch Out For

It’s a good idea to be aware of the symptoms you may experience that can be a telltale sign of diabetes:

  • Urinate a lot, often at night.
  • Are very thirsty.
  • Lose weight without trying.
  • Are very hungry.
  • Have blurry vision.
  • Have numb or tingling hands or feet.
  • Feel very tired.
  • Have very dry skin.
  • Have sores that heal slowly.
  • Have more infections than usual.

How To Handle Diabetes

If you are diagnosed with diabetes, although there are no cures for the condition, you can live a good quality of life with some lifestyle modifications and careful monitoring. That’s how Any Lab Test Now® can help. We provide a number of lab tests that help you manage diabetes, like our DIABETES MAINTENANCE PANEL. This panel consists of four tests that provide valuable information to help you and your healthcare provider monitor your diabetes treatment. Those tests include:

  • Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) – Measures your average blood glucose levels over the past two to three months.
  • Diabetic Urinalysis) – Looks for protein in your urine, which could indicate kidney problems.
  • Complete Blood Count (CBC) – Can detect anemia, infection, bleeding disorders, and more.
  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) – Measures your blood glucose and provides valuable information about your kidney function, liver function, and electrolytes.

Keep in mind, along with careful monitoring, there are a number of lifestyle changes you can make that can help you manage your disease:

1. Check blood sugar: Regularly checking your blood sugar levels can ensure you’re on the right track. It’s like routinely checking your car’s fuel gauge to avoid running empty unexpectedly.

2. Healthy eating: Watch your carb intake and focus on eating more proteins, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Understanding how different foods affect your blood sugar is a journey, one well worth taking.

3. Being active: Physical activity can help lower your blood sugar. It’s not just about hitting the gym — dancing, walking, or even gardening can count.

4. Medication: If prescribed, ensure you’re taking your medication as directed.

5. Coping mechanisms: Stress can affect your blood sugar levels. So, finding healthy ways to cope can be beneficial.

6. Regular check-ups: Routine visits to your healthcare provider can help you keep tabs on your blood pressure, cholesterol level, and other metrics.

Trick or treat? As Halloween approaches, consider boosting your health and wellness by skipping the treats this spooky season.

Halloween originated from an ancient Celtic festival, Samhain, where people lit bonfires and wore costumes to keep ghosts at bay. Costumes are still at the heart of the holiday, but celebrations have evolved, and Halloween is now synonymous with sugary sweets and candy.

While indulging in a sugar rush is par for the course on Halloween, you should be aware of the negative impact of excessive sugar consumption on your health. We’ve got the scoop on the potential risks associated with too much sugar and can offer some practical advice to help you manage your sugar intake during this festive time of year.

What Happens When You Eat Sugar?

When you consume sugar, it’s broken down into glucose, which is absorbed into your bloodstream and prompts the release of insulin from the pancreas. Insulin helps glucose enter the cells of the body, where it’s used for energy or stored for future use.

Sugar occurs naturally in whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, which are important components of a balanced diet. These healthful foods digest slowly, and the natural sugar gives your body energy. While natural sugars are good for the body, added sugar poses a problem. Food manufacturers add sugar to processed food to make it taste better and stay fresh longer. Some common sources of added sugar are sodas, flavored yogurt, and other processed food. The average American consumes 17 teaspoons of added sugar per day.

Consequences of Too Much Sugar

Consuming too much sugar can lead to several health issues. It can cause spikes in blood glucose levels, leading to energy crashes and mood swings. Over the long term, it can contribute to weight gain, increase the risk of type 2 diabetes by causing insulin resistance, and lead to dental problems like cavities. Nearly 40% of U.S. adults are obese. Too much added sugar also puts you at risk for heart disease, high blood pressure, inflammation, and liver disease, according  to Harvard Health.

How Any Lab Test Now Can Help

Any Lab Test Now® has tests to help you manage your general health, as well as chronic conditions that may be the result of a genetic predisposition or a diet with too many processed foods and added sugar. Many conditions often go undiagnosed, because of the high out-of-pocket cost of healthcare — one in five Americans do not know they have diabetes.

If you’ve been diagnosed with diabetes, careful monitoring is the key to maintaining your health. We provide a number of lab tests that help you manage diabetes, like our DIABETES MAINTENANCE PANEL. This panel consists of four tests that provide essential data to help you and your healthcare provider monitor your diabetes treatment.

How to Reduce Sugar Intake this Halloween

Stay on track this Halloween by taking steps to reduce your sugar consumption. Moderating sugar intake doesn’t mean you have to miss Halloween fun. Here are some strategies to help you enjoy the holiday while keeping your health in check:

  • On Halloween, eat a nutritious meal to avoid overindulging. Eating fiber-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can help stabilize blood sugar levels.
  • Read labels to be aware of hidden sugars in processed foods. Sugar can appear under many names on ingredient lists, such as sucrose, high fructose corn syrup, and dextrose.
  • Keep your house stocked with healthy alternative treats such as fruits, nuts, and dark chocolate.
  • Choose quality over quantity. Opt for a small amount of high-quality chocolate instead of large quantities of less satisfying, sugar-packed candies.
  • Mitigate the effects of sugar consumption with exercise. Take a post-trick-or-treat walk or play a fun, active game to get your steps in.

Take Control of Your Health

With the support of Any Lab Test Now® you can keep calm and scare on this holiday season. Visit Any Lab Test Now® to check your blood glucose and manage your diabetes like a pro. Call now to schedule an appointment at a location near you.

Health insurance should be a safety net that makes medical care more affordable. But with premiums and deductibles on the rise, people often pay a lot out of pocket before their insurance even kicks in. Turning to Any Lab Test Now® for clear, affordable pricing can be a smart move for managing your health and wellness.

How Does My Insurance Work?

Figuring out insurance can be a real headache. Every month, a chunk of your paycheck goes toward the premium, and you usually must meet your deductible before your insurance starts covering your medical bills. Unfortunately, out-of-pocket costs are skyrocketing, making it difficult for many people to get the care they deserve.

The number of Americans with high-deductible insurance plans (HDHPs) and health savings accounts (HSAs) has climbed in recent years. With an HSA, you can stash away some pre-tax dollars for health expenses if you’ve got a high-deductible plan. At least 36 million Americans had an HSA in 2023, according to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. While high deductible plans have lower premiums and cover well visits, you’ll often pay thousands of dollars out-of-pocket for additional tests or specialists. Ensuring you have enough saved in your HSA to cover these out-of-pocket costs can be challenging. And if you don’t have any chronic illnesses, you may only hit your deductible if you have a hospital stay.

These high costs are taking a toll. Nearly one-third of Americans are burdened with healthcare-related debt, making it difficult to receive care and exacerbating stress. Gaps in coverage can lead people to postpone necessary tests due to cost concerns, potentially putting their health at risk.

Skin is the largest organ of the human body. Its functions include protecting us from environmental hazards, regulating body temperature, and providing sensory information like touch. As the National Institutes of Health puts it, “skin is the organ that comes in contact with the world.” Which means our skin is extremely vulnerable to all types of damage, some of which can have serious long-term consequences. As you continue to read, you will learn more about skin damage and how Any Lab Test Now® can help you take proactive steps to protect your skin.

The Dangers of Sun Exposure

Sun exposure is perhaps the most well-known causes of skin damage. If you’ve ever had a sunburn, you know the pain it can cause. The Ultraviolet (UV) radiation that causes the sunburn also causes long-term damage, like premature aging and an increased risk of skin cancer.

Types of Sunscreens

The risk of skin cancer is the number one reason to reach for the sunscreen before you head spend a good amount of time outside. There are two main types of sunscreens: chemical and physical (mineral) sunscreens.

  • Chemical sunscreens: These contain organic compounds that absorb UV radiation and convert it into heat, which is then released from the skin. Chemical sunscreens are easier to apply and don’t leave a residue.
  • Physical sunscreens: Otherwise known as mineral sunscreens, these contain active mineral ingredients such as zinc oxide. The lotion creates a physical barrier designed to reflect UV radiation away from the skin.

Experts advise, when choosing a sunscreen, look for one that offers broad-spectrum protection (against both UVA and UVB rays) and has a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 30. When using sunscreen you should reapply every two hours, or more often if swimming or sweating. The New York Times provides an annual list of the best sunscreen products.

The Consequences of Sunburns

The red, blistering, painful sunburn that often leads to peeling skin is your skin’s way of telling you that you’ve had too much UV radiation. While aloe vera or other sunburn remedies can help in the short term, the long-term consequences can be much more serious. The Skin Cancer Foundation warns that repeated sunburns significantly increase the risk of developing skin cancer, including melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. Too much sun exposure also accelerates the skin’s aging process, leading to wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots.

Other Contributors to Skin Damage

While sun exposure is a major factor in skin damage, it’s not the only one. Lifestyle choices can impact your skin health.

  • Smoking is one of the most damaging habits for your skin. It reduces blood flow, depriving the skin of oxygen and essential nutrients and damaging collagen and elastin, the fibers you need to keep the elasticity in your skin.
  • Excessive alcohol consumption can dehydrate the skin, leading to dryness and an increased likelihood of wrinkles.
  • A balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants is essential for healthy skin. Nutrients like vitamins A, C, and E help protect the skin from damage and promote healing.
  • Regular exercise boosts circulation, which helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to the skin and promotes the production of collagen.

Skin Test at Any Lab Test Now®

To better understand your skin’s health and take proactive steps to protect it, consider using the Skin Vitality Panel Kit from Any Lab Test Now®. This comprehensive kit provides valuable insights into various factors that affect skin health, including vitamin levels, inflammation markers, and antioxidant capacity.

Your skin is rich in hormone receptor sites, especially on the face, which has a high concentration of estrogen receptors. As a result, the effects of declining hormones often first become noticeable on the face. Premature aging, unexplained skin rashes, breakouts, and excess facial or body hair can often be linked to undetected hormone imbalances.

Our take-home hormone kit includes a dried blood spot test to measure thyroid and Vitamin D levels, along with four saliva tests taken throughout the day to track peaks and troughs in steroid and adrenal hormone production. These tests can identify hormone imbalances that may contribute to skin issues.

Take Your Health into Your Hands

By understanding these key factors, you can make informed decisions about your skincare routine and lifestyle choices to improve and maintain the health of your skin. Protecting your skin from damage is essential for both its appearance and overall health.

Our Skin Vitality Panel kit is available for purchase both in-store and online. But we have thousands of lab tests for you and your family that can provide other health answers. You can check out our website for more and call to schedule an appointment at a location near you.

Remember, at Any Lab Test Now®, the lab tests we provide are confidential, affordable, and convenient. You own the results, and you choose how to proceed with them, whether that means consulting with your provider for further details or perhaps the results give you the answers you were seeking.

Roald Bradstock, famously known as the “Olympic Picasso,” has a fascinating tale of weaving his passion for art into his athletic achievements. Married to Any Lab Test Now’s CEO, Clarissa Bradstock, he’s had the honor of enriching the brand’s visual appeal and showcasing the connection between health and creativity.

Olympic Background

Roald Bradstock is a two-time Olympic athlete who competed in javelin throwing at Los Angeles 1984 and Seoul 1988. His journey began with a distinctive and self-developed technique to work around his spina bifida birth defect. Spina bifida occurs when the neural tube doesn’t close properly during pregnancy, causing incomplete development of the spine. But Roald didn’t let this stop him from chasing his dreams. Throughout his career, he set world records for throwing various objects and became a javelin record holder. Despite facing health challenges, Bradstock continued to push boundaries, competing in his 7th Olympic trials in 2008 at age 46 and setting a World Age Javelin Record in 2009. He defied the odds once more when he competed in his 8th Olympic trials in 2012 at age 50, coming in second place.

Artistic Pursuits

Far from just an athlete, Bradstock is a highly accomplished artist, often integrating his athletic background with his passion for art. He has received prestigious awards such as the USOC Sport Art Competition in 2000 and the International Sports Artist of the Year in 2003. Bradstock’s style, named “athletic abstraction,” captures the essence of athletic endeavor through powerful, vibrant, and expressive visuals.

Roald’s artwork has been exhibited at the International Olympic Museum in Lausanne, and he was appointed to the IOC Culture and Olympic Heritage Commission in 2017. He went on to become the Chair of the World Olympians Association (WOA) Art Committee: OLY Arts. Bradstock also worked as an artist in residence at the PyeongChang 2018 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, showcasing his creations during these massive events.

Artistic Partnership with Any Lab Test Now

Roald Bradstock’s artistry shines through his connection to Any Lab Test Now. As the husband of the company’s CEO, Clarissa Bradstock, franchisees have the distinct pleasure of displaying his eye-catching artwork in their stores. This adds a captivating visual appeal that embodies both the pursuit of health and wellness and the creative power of the human spirit.

Roald Bradstock’s journey from Olympic athlete to renowned artist highlights the awe-inspiring possibilities of blending two seemingly unrelated fields – sports and art. Through Any Lab Test Now’s collaboration with the “Olympic Picasso,” the franchise stands out, offering consumers not only convenient and affordable lab testing services but also an inspiring, visually stimulating, and creative atmosphere in which they can take control of their health.
